It does contain a relatively diverse and heterogeneous collection of war-related artifacts ranging from Second World War military memorabilia and weaponry, to war relics from Japan displayed in the gardens.

2. Palimo Adat Museum
Situated near to Wamena and inside the celebrated Baliem Valley, Palimo Adat Museum stands as the only museum within the whole region, no wonder that it surely draws the visitors attention. 4. Museum Negeri (State Museum)
Situated in the small town of Waena and close to Taman Budaya (Cultural Park), Museum Negeri contains a very reasonable collection of artifacts originating from throughout Papua including both present day and historical items, from the periods such as Dutch colonial times. You can expect to find wooden carvings and sculptures, traditional Indonesian costumes, boats and regional handicrafts. Hence, you can learn the traditional cultures of Papua. 5. Taman Budaya (Cultural Park)
Waena Cultural Park does contain a series of traditional houses. Each of them represents an actual district. The best part of it is that the admission is completely free of charge.
